Therapeutic Indication
Indicated for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin & soft tissues.
Dosage and Method of Administration
Most infections: 10 mg/kg twice daily, maximum 250 mg/day.
Otitis media or more serious infections: 15 mg/kg twice daily, maximum 500 mg/day.
Usual duration: 7 days (range 5–10 days).
For children 3 months to <40 kg, dosing may be adjusted according to age/weight.
