Therapeutic Indication

Provides effective management of acid-related condition by reducing excessive gastric acid secretion, relieving symptoms, and promoting healing in reflux oesophagitis, peptic ulcers, and hypersecretory conditions.

Dosage and Method of Administration

Adult:

  • Gastric & duodenal ulcer, reflux oesophagitis: 40 mg intravenously once daily.
  • Zollinger–Ellison syndrome & pathological hypersecretory conditions: Starting dose of 80 mg/day intravenously, the dose should be divided and given twice daily.

Special population:

  • Hepatic impairment: Maximum recommended dose is 20 mg/day in patients with severe liver impairment.

  • Reflux oesophagitis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, NSAID-associated ulcers:40 mg once daily.
  • Maintenance therapy for reflux oesophagitis:40 mg once daily.
  • Helicobacter pylori eradication:40 mg twice daily
  • Zollinger–Ellison syndrome and other pathological hypersecretory conditions:2 tablets of 40 mg daily.

Mode of Administration

Only for oral use.
