Therapeutic Indication

Indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections, including sinusitis, otitis media, respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin and soft tissue, and bone and joint infections.

Dosage and Method of Administration

Adults and children >12 years or >40 kg: One 625 mg tablet twice daily; severe infections may require tablets twice daily

Children <40 kg: Dose based on body weight and infection severity, given in 2–3 divided doses

Therapeutic Indication

Indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections, including sinusitis, otitis media, respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin and soft tissue, and bone and joint infections.

Dosage and Method of Administration

Adults and children over 12years weighing more than 40kg:

  • Severe infections: One SOAMOX 1 g tablet twice daily
  • Ear infections, sinusitis: One SOAMOX 1 g tablet three times daily
  • Lower respiratory tract infections
  • Urinary tract infections

Children weighing less than 40kg:

  • Usual dose: 25–45 mg/kg/day, divided into two doses.
