Therapeutic Indication

Indicated for the treatment of serious bacterial infections, including respiratory, urinary, skin and soft-tissue infections.
Also indicated for bone and joint, intra-abdominal and female genital infections, and surgical infection prophylaxis.

Dosage and Method of Administration

Adults & children ≥40 kg: 1000 mg/200 mg every 8 hours.
Children <40 kg: 25 mg/5 mg per kg every 8 hours (≥3 months) or every 12 hours (<3 months or <4 kg).
