Therapeutic Indication

OMESOV 20 capsules are indicated across a broad range of acid-related gastrointestinal disorders in adults, children, and adolescents as appropriate.

• Treatment of duodenal ulcer
• Prevention of relapse of duodenal ulcer
• Treatment of gastric ulcer
• Prevention of relapse of gastric ulcer
• Peptic ulcer disease combined with appropriate antibiotics for eradication of Helicobacter pylori
• Gastric and duodenal ulcers associated with NSAID use
• Prevention of gastric and duodenal ulcers in at-risk patients using NSAIDs
• Treatment of reflux esophagitis
• Long-term treatment after healing of reflux esophagitis
• Symptomatic gastro-oesophageal reflux disease
• Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
• Children older than 1 year and weighing 10 kg or more: treatment of reflux esophagitis
• Children older than 1 year and weighing 10 kg or more: symptomatic treatment of heartburn and acid regurgitation in gastro-oesophageal reflux disease
• Children and adolescents over 4 years: with antibiotics for duodenal ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori infection

Dosage and Method of Administration

• Use as prescribed according to the indication and the treating clinician's judgement.
• For Helicobacter pylori eradication, omeprazole should be used in combination with appropriate antibiotics.
• Pediatric use depends on age and weight criteria stated in the indication section.

Mode of Administration

• Oral use.
• Omeprazole capsules should be swallowed whole.
• Do not open, chew, or crush the capsules.
