NIMET is indicated for the treatment of Type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults when diet and exercise alone are insufficient to control blood glucose levels. It may be used alone, with other oral antidiabetic medicines, or with insulin.
Dosage and Method of Administration
Adults:
- One tablet once daily, with the evening meal.
- The dose may be gradually increased by the doctor after around 2 weeks, based on blood glucose levels.
