Therapeutic Indication

LOFGEL is indicated in adults and adolescents aged 14 years and over as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic agent in the treatment of mild to moderate muscle pain, contusions, post-traumatic pain, and muscle or joint injuries including sports injuries.

Dosage and Method of Administration

  • Adults and adolescents aged 14 years and over: apply LOFGEL on the painful or inflamed area 2 to 3 times daily for a maximum of 4 days.
  • The quantity of gel depends on the size of the affected site. Two to four grams of gel, equivalent to a strip of 5 to 10 cm, is usually sufficient to treat an area of 400 to 800 cm².
  • The maximum daily dose is 8 g of gel.
  • Rub gently after application.
  • Treatment should not continue for more than 14 days in muscle or joint injuries unless advised by a doctor.
  • The patient should consult a doctor if the intended effect has not been achieved after 7 days or if symptoms worsen.
  • Children and adolescents under 14 years: there are insufficient data on efficacy and safety.

Therapeutic Indication

LOFGEL XPERT contains diclofenac, an NSAID formulated for rubbing into the skin to relieve pain and reduce inflammation and swelling in painful joint and muscle conditions. It can be used for muscle and joint injuries such as sprains, strains, bruises, backache, sports injuries, tendonitis such as tennis elbow, and mild arthritis.

Dosage and Method of Administration

  • Apply thin layers of LOFGEL XPERT to the affected area 2 to 3 times daily according to the clinical need.
  • Use approximately 2 to 4 g per application, around the size of a cherry to a walnut, and rub gently.
  • LOFGEL XPERT must not be used in children under 14 years of age.
  • In osteoarthritis, therapy should be reviewed after 4 weeks.
  • For other indications, treatment should be reviewed after 14 days, or as prescribed by the physician.
  • Always use exactly as directed by a doctor.

  • For external use only. Do not use in the mouth.
  • If accidentally swallowed, seek medical advice immediately.
  • Do not allow the gel to enter the eyes. If this happens, rinse well with clean water and seek medical advice if discomfort persists.
