Dosage and Method of Administration

  • Adults and children over 12 years: Usually 1–3 g daily. The usual dose is 1 capsule every 6–8 hours

Therapeutic Indication

  • Indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections affecting the skin and soft tissues, respiratory tract, bones, and urinary tract.

Dosage and Method of Administration

  • Adults and children over 14 years: 1–3 g daily, divided into 4 doses.
  • Severe infections: Up to 8 g daily, divided into 4 infusions, each given over 20–30 minutes. Maximum 2 g per infusion.
  • Children under 14 years: 25–50 mg/kg/day, divided into 3–4 doses.
  • Severe infections in children: Up to 100 mg/kg/day, divided into 3–4 doses. Maximum 33 mg/kg per dose.
