Dosage and Method of Administration
Adult:
- Upper and lower respiratory tract infections: 500 mg as a single dose on Day 1, followed by 250 mg once daily on Day2 through Day5.
Pediatric:
- Acute Otitis Media: 30mg/kg given as a single dose or 10mg/kg once daily for 3 days or 10mg/kg as a single dose on the first day followed by 5mg/kg /day on Days 2 through 5.
- Acute Bacterial Sinusitis: 10mg/kg once daily for 3 days.
- Community-Acquired Pneumonia: 10mg/kg as a single dose on the first day followed by 5mg/kg on Days 2 through 5.

- Uncomplicated sexually transmitted diseases: Single 1g dose
Pediatric:
- Acute Otitis Media: 30mg/kg given as a single dose or 10mg/kg once daily for 3 days or 10mg/kg as a single dose on the first day followed by 5mg/kg /day on Days 2 through 5.

Dosage and Method of Administration
For pediatric use only.
20 mg/kg/day as a single daily dose for 3 days, without exceeding the adult dose of 500 mg/day.
In children aged 1 year and older, the total dose is 30 mg/kg administered as 10 mg/kg once daily for 3 days, or over 5 days starting with 10 mg/kg on Day 1 followed by 5 mg/kg per day for the next 4 days.
Mode of Administration
- For oral use only.
- Administer only after reconstitution of the suspension.
Directions for reconstitution:
Shake the bottle to loosen powder. Slowly add freshly boiled & cooled water up to the mark on the bottle and shake vigorously until all the powder is dispersed.
